Who we are
Danças Que Tem Feito (DQTF) is a dance creation, production and training platform, coordinated, from Piauí-Brazil, by Ireno Júnior (PI) and Samuel Alvís (PI), both artists and researchers in Dance. The Dances We Have Made aims to dialogue and collaborate with people and places, having affection as a central motto to think about the critical production of a dance that asks questions through its artistic practices, as well as thinking about the dances that are to come - dances to invent, question, insist.

DANCES WE HAVE MADE arose from the pulsating desire for dance and its connections. It is a place/context to think about creation, production and training in dance, dialoguing with other artistic languages. This long name “dancasquemosfeito” arises from the possibility of thinking about continuity, a doing that is done, doing, in the meantime.Dances that relate to different bodies, places and contexts interest us deeply. We've been doing a lot of dancing and a lot of dialogue has been going on, and that's to keep it going.
Among the projects and/or dances linked to the DQTF: What Dance Have You Been Doing During Quarantine? (2020), Paragem-live (2020), LiveMaisDança (2020), Valentar (2021), Sabbath da Brixa (2022), Eitta James (2022), Guiança (2022), Sorria (2023), Turbulência Encontros de Danças (2023) ).
The repertoire of platform dance shows/performances was presented in several festivals/contexts in Brazil, such as:at thePiauí-BR (Junta - International Dance Festival; Occupy Rails; Scenic Balaio; Quinta Dança -Sesc), inMinas Gerais-BR(Acuenda Festival; Move Concreto), atBahia-BR (Itacaré Dance Festival; UFBA Congress).
